Robbie is passionate about empowering individuals and wanted to create an organisation which provides both stimulating and interactive activities. His goal is to show that it is never too late to learn and also to highlight the amazing cognitive benefits of learning a foreign language.
Kamilla Biskup - Development Manager
Kamilla was born in Poland, grew up in Germany, studied in Austria before making Scotland her home. Having always had a passion for languages, Kamilla studied Audio-visual Translation and is now happy to use her previous experience in various business development roles to help Lingo Flamingo spread its wings.
Linda Basler - Learning Manager
A Modern Languages and Education graduate, Linda has worked and studied in both France and Québec. She has many years’ experience in tutoring young children, professionals and older adults, including those living with dementia. Linda’s main objective is to make language lessons fun, immersive and accessible for all.
Tommy McGlynn - Engagement Officer
Tommy is a Social Business graduate who is keenly interested in the potential of entrepreneurship to bring about positive changes to society. Believing ardently in life long learning and self-development, Tommy is enthused to help Lingo Flamingo change perceptions and challenge stigma of older adults and those living with dementia.
Leah Cowling - Volunteer Coordinator
Leah is a recent graduate from Edinburgh University who has extensive personal volunteering experience and is passionate about facilitating engagement in the voluntary sector to help foster a cohesive and supportive community. Leah was brought up speaking German, and has recently spent a year living in Cologne, so she enjoys practising her German when she can.
